Sep. 14th, 2006 03:00 pmi got a new smell phone! that's way exciting. and it's a camera phone, which is weird. but fun. video, too. it's nice to have what i'm paying for, as opposed to an answering machine.
the first person to call me was my dad. about 5 minutes after i got in the car with my cousin and my new phone. he's in massachusetts, and i'm meeting him in an hour or so for dinner. this always makes me really nervous. if it was just him it'd be no problem, but his wife works with him now, which means i'll never see him without her ever again. and, as many of you know, she and i don't really get along so well. we make nicey nice pretty succesfully, and have for the last 2 years. but only for his sake. and more than anything what that means is i bite my tongue. probably more on this later... i have to work at 8 tonight, so i have a definite escape time if things are going badly.
i love my dad... so much. and i hate that i have these feelings every time i'm going to see him. especially since last christmas. i can tell he still loves me more than anything, but i can also tell that i make him uncomfortable. it's icky.
alright, now i shower, go to orleans and break bread with my father, work at the vixen, get naked pictures taken for the vixen calendar :) and tomorrow morning at 6:45 i get on a bus and GO TO BROOKLYN!! i'll be with grover in less than 24 hours now. thank the goddess.
i've spent a lot of time on the internet lately, but haven't really been writing anyhitng personal... no responses to personal emails, no lj, etc... i don't really know why, but i do know i've been missin y'all. ciao.
