I wanted to say, too.... that... well, you could call me if you wanted. But i might cry. Seriously, if you are up for it... I could seriously use the support from any of you. i think that grover is great but she might need a break from my craziness. i've been feeling pretty loony.

Date: 2007-06-29 03:48 pm (UTC)Also, I share your pain about feeling isolated and crappy when with family. I always feel like a sad weido freak when I'm in NB - like there's something wrong with *me* and not them. My family's disfunction is a very quiet type of disfunction (whereby we all feel like we are alone) but it's still sad.
I think the feelings get exacerbated when there's too much leisure time (i.e. sitting by the pool, or in my case watching talk tv in the basement while eating chips and food with no spices in it.) Maybe you could cook up a project to keep your mind busy? The best time I ever had in NB was when I organised a family yard sale. I did all the work, and it was glorious cause it kept me busy and non-depressed.
Call or e-mail if you like. My number should be in the gals phone list that's on the yahoogroup.
