well, it's been 70 hours since i've had a cigarette. not one single puff... it's craziness. i've never actually done this without cheating. or lying. and i feel a little crazy. like, actually nuts... i gotta figure out what kinda help i can give myself.
it was great to spend the weekend with my lover. we hardly left the house, so i didn't have to be tempted by strangers with cigarettes. and she dealt with my being a crazy fucking bitch. (which is behavior that my mom and mike are promoting right now. they're fucking with me and i might lose my shit.) damn we have such a nice time together... me and grover, that is. insanely nice. can i please move to brooklyn now.
ok, i have to go. my mom and mike are making want to smoke until i die.

i remember when i was first quitting - i went to halifax with tEt and spent a week in a trailer with her and her momma smoking the whole time. i don't even know what one does to get through it...but i think it's mostly "hanging in there" because once you do get past the initial pain of quitting (emotional and physical) you will start to feel so fuckin' good.

anyway - i'm proud of you for trying - you're doing a great thing for yourself.

i rode home with little ted yesterday, and she was definitely practicing restraint. but there were a few moments when i had to pretty much physically restrain myself so i wouldn't grab her cigarettes. but, the important thing is.. i didn't. and you know what?? i ALREADY feel great. better than i have in a long time.

Quit Smoking Spell: a banishing
Incense: Dragon’s Blood
Tools: leather cord, glass bottle with cork, cigarette.
Black candle – anoint with petitgrain and black pepper essential oils
Amazonite stone – consecrate during ritual and later carry it around with you to keep protected and to remind you of your commitment.
take the cigarette and bind it with the leather cord while repeating the incantation: “This cord I wind, all desires to bind” then put the cigarette in the bottle, cork it and seal it with the wax from the anointed black candle.
The bottle can be buried in you garden during or after the ritual.
When you are done, uncast and begin you new smoke-free life!
