Good lord I needed the woods so bad. Two days was hardly enough but it helped. And knowing that I *can* really helps. I made a short list of things that I need to do/build into my life better in order to get Well again. These past few months have been a struggle. Maybe the last year? Maybe always off and on the same issues have come up? I don't know. What I do know is that I can change some of what I'm struggling with on the inside.
One of the things on my list is creating things for people I love. Whether crafting or cooking or just writing a card.... Then I came home and made gluten free Mac-safe zucchini bread that is fucking delicious and delivered a couple loaves to friends. One whose girlfriend left last week and the other who I've had some recent tension with. It felt good and if I'm going to make a habit of ANY thing, now is the time; before school starts, before we are moving. So, maybe I will and maybe I won't follow through, but if you read this and happen to send me your address, your chances of getting a little something in the mail are a little better than they were yesterday.
