Well, since some of you gave good reviews for this app I figured I should try it. I'm much more likely to update if I can do it on the bus. Of course, there will be a lot more weird typos this way. Ah well.
I think things are leveling out with me a little bit. It's been a pretty rough few weeks in a lot of ways. My anxiety has been spiking, along with my stress about money and grades and the state of my house. Having my mom is is great in a lot of ways, but she's only here half time now. That decision came 3 days before school started and I think it kicked off my anxiety spiral. See, before that I thought all of my childcare was covered this term, and for free. It's working out fine. It always does. There were a lot of things tied in with that, of course. Anyway. I just quit drinking coffee and I started therapy. And I'm starting to prioritize cooking food again.
Oh, another thing is that my mom, Oliver, and I are sharing my bedroom until we move, which will hopefully happen in December. We won't move until the bedbugs are gone. But those of you that know my mom probably understand that she needs a space to have her mess. Without that, the mess is everywhere, and I'm trying to just see past it. I don't have any space to offer her and I feel guilty.
There are a lot of really great things too. I love getting to see my mom. When she's around she's really generous with her time - even when she was totally sick. I got an A on my first molecular biology exam (in the top 10 of 170 students). That was a welcome surprise. I'm in love with The Ranger. There are some complicated things there, but it's generally sweet and tender. And then there's Oliver. The whining and saying no has started, but with that his outbursts of happiness are also more energetic. He's so damn sweet.
That's all I got right now. I hope everyone's well. Xo!
Edited later: It's weird. Looking at this later I see that it just edited an old post, erasing the body and putting this in. The comments transferred and I just edited to date to make it today. I'll figure the app out, someday.
