like a small child in kindergarten

I can never sleep the night before the first day of school. Even in high school, when I hated everyone and had serious fantasies about things like flooding the school, I still laid awake all night. Even so, the first day of school is always the easiest for me to wake up for. It's the day I am the most clean, usually the most prepared, the best dressed of the whole term (that last may not be true right now). I get all excited and nervous. Even just at the start f the term.
Geesh.

I love biology. and it's going to be SO HARD!! (That "SO HARD!!" is to be read with an excited smile.)
I'm so ready for this challenge. Seriously. Last term was way too easy, and so I lagged when I should have been studying and being an active learner. My bio instructor is a totally adorable chubby femme with incredibly cute fashion, who I'm reading as queer so far. She's a ballbuster about cell phones and in-class etiquette. Thank god. On top of that, she's completely on top of her game with the information, and all our materials and resources.
Fuck. Yes. I think that she and poom poom should be friends. And that makes me pretty much love her.


Anyhow... Now I have a little break. I'm going to spend it making a plan for studying Biology, because the shit is flying SO fast during class, and she gives us access to all the powerpoint stuff. I think I should actually print it out and keep a binder for lecture on top of my binder for lab. It seems almost excessive, but this is stuff that I will keep forever. Man. Have I mentioned how excited i am about this? I'm also very grateful that chemistry is not on the same day. It's so much new stuff. I've never taken biology (maybe freshman year in HS, but I got a d and spent most of that year suspended), and have no chemistry either.
Kay. i'm gonna go do that binder thing, and eat my roasted veggies and quinoa lunch. Yum.

What a day!
I can get down with this, though. I do much better under this kind of slow pressure than with an easy breezy load. For serious. I love Biology. I love Calculus. I love writing.
And on the way home I was thinking "I need to get Ree's friend's email so I can just send her a hello and reminder," and when I got home, it was in a note on my door. Apparently they spoke about me working there, but I haven't seen Ree yet to hear details.

8. What one was the most painful? The bottom and top of my spine. Yeouch.
