I can never sleep the night before the first day of school. Even in high school, when I hated everyone and had serious fantasies about things like flooding the school, I still laid awake all night. Even so, the first day of school is always the easiest for me to wake up for. It's the day I am the most clean, usually the most prepared, the best dressed of the whole term (that last may not be true right now). I get all excited and nervous. Even just at the start f the term.
Geesh.

and i'm the teacher. Not so much last night because I was exhausted, but today was the first day of school, and I was here at 5 am making sure everything in the class room was just so! And I'm not a morning person!
