New York Thruway
Jun. 22nd, 2007 12:14 pmI'm somewhere between Syracuse and Buffalo.
I miss my girlfriend, and I'm sleepy, despite massive doses of caffeine (coffee, midol, excedrin migraine). I stayed in a hotel in Albany last night and it was a little creepy. I wrote in my paper journal about it. But I haven't been scared like that in so long. I laid there, on top of the covers wrapped up in my own quilt, thinking about all the horrible things that can happen when traveling alone. I don't know why I do that to myself. But I do.
It was also very quiet. Which I honestly didn't expect to be a problem when moving away from brooklyn.
I stayed with Lexi the night before last, and that was great. She's good. I like watching people change.
My family is a few hours away. Well, 400 miles. Give or take. I should go to them. It's nice to sit still though and give my little car a break.
Did I mention that I got lost for THREE HOURS in cambridge/medford/somerville?
well. i did.
bye.
