also, ouch. toledo. i don't have the right words for my emotions on this one. i can't fucking believe the news coverage i've been reading on this. "gang members" MY ASS! when i talked to lukas earlier he was describing what happened two blocks from where he was hanging out saturday afternoon by what he saw on the news (as the riots were happenening). he said a few things that made me flare up - including the words "gang members," and "black kids." and then i start thinking about all the time i spent in the neighborhood next to where the city was allowing this neo-nazi group to march. and so many of my friends in high school who i ended relationships with because they couldn't even try not to be racist FUCKS.
