Is it just too obvious if i have to write an essay on "Place" to write it about festival?
I feel like it's the easiest answer, and after trying to write that paper about my cousin spencer I could use something easy. shit.

no its not obvious and my inclination is to urge you to do it. the best papers come out of issues/ideas that work for the writer. enjoy it and i bet you'll learn a new thing or two along the way.
