also, do you like the tea tree toothpicks? cause those can be good. sugarless gum, carrot sticks...whatever it takes to get through it - the need to stuff yourself will fade in time. tobacco is cured in sugar so the unfortunate side effect of quitting the smoking habit is also a major sugar withdrawal. when i quit, one of the things I did was to get on a stationary bike every morning for 30-odd minutes and get my heart rate up...this helped pick up my energy, boost my lung power and also made me feel better about eating everything I could lay hands on.
