charlz_lynnit's over. this term, i mean. i had my algebra final earlier today, and that wrapped up this term rather nicely. i wasn't very nervous going in this time, but that test was factually, really difficult! anyway, i held my a in that class. know what else? i ended up with an a in that goddamned motherfucking stupid ass health and fitness class. yeah, take that, deuell... i kicked your stupid class's ass!
also, a in physics (she told me i'd have to get 30% on the final if i wanted a b in her class), and of course a in weight training.
do you realize what this means?? that means i have a 4.0 this term, which brings my cumulative gpa to well above the 3.8 guideline for my reward. which means some little devil i know is getting a single tail for being studious.
i'm a little smug... but my horoscope today did tell me i'd better pay attention to the little gems that will be showing up often in my life this week.
tomorrow the first graders at the school i started tutoring at are singing, and they're holding a breakfast for the volunteers. it's now 2am, and i have to leave the house by 8 to get there. i'm considering not going. it really does sound lovely, meeting some of the other volunteers, and listening to first graders sing (little darlings)...
but shit... i leave sunday, we're basically having an all-day thing on saturday, and my room/life is a fucking mess. is any of my shit packed? hell no. is my laundry done? jeezus, who do you think i am! Do I feel ready to leave for almost 3 weeks? nope. i think i might have to stay home. it wouldn't be a problem except for that whole 2 hour transit home thing... that hurts. we'll see. prolly not though.
okay, this kid is off to bed. oh!! jonesy and i went and saw king kong today. it was pretty amazing. super cheese in some parts... and made me angry with "man." overall, it was excellent. and i like going to movies with jonesy. she's one of those gems i mentioned earlier.
