charlz_lynnAs of tomorrow I am an uninsured pregnant woman because a social worker at DSHS made a mistake (or misunderstood me) and listed that I am moving out of the state. Which, yes, I am, but I told them I am moving in September. And now ALL of my benefits are getting cut off as of July first. I am so aggravated. I have called and left a few messages with my social worker and my case manager. No one has called me back. And right now they are all in a meeting and no one will be able to deal with me until tomorrow. I am going there first thing.
I'm struggling, hard, with being mad at the system instead of mad at the the individual who made the mistake. She handles the other half of the alphabet, so when my SW left for three weeks, her workload doubled.
Damn it.
That's all for now. I'm trying not to cry about this. No food stamps. No insurance. I thought I could simply fix it with a phone call and I have made a bunch and no one is returning them.
