Runnin.

I bought a treadmill from Craigslist today and I'm going to start couch to 5k tomorrow. I'm so fucking excited. Beneath the cut is some body and weight stuff.

One last thing, only peripherally related to the body stuff. I won't be banging anyone at Michigan. Jodie and I have decided that it's just too complicated. Well, I decided. Especially this year. I want to focus all my energy on me and my family. That's you guys, and about 800 others. I need the time with people. Not messy misconstrued feelings all over the place. Misplaced everything. No. I'm going to read books and lie in hammocks and hold hands with the people I love most, and cry and cry and cry. That's all I want. It sounds perfect. As does coming home to this beautiful place, my beautiful partner who is an amazing parent and teammate, my beautiful son who melts and maddens me at once, this dog, our housemate vince,  teaching science to people who are scared.  It feels nice to take an extra possibility to fuck any of that up off the table.
