babysitting

I got to watch my cousin Mike's son Abel today. He's almost two, but new to our side of the family. And Oh. My. God. He''s a dream. Yesterday was the first time I met him, and I had so much fun with him. Then today Mike called and asked if I would hang out with him while they did some running around here -- they live in Provincetown, about an hour and a half away. Anyway. We had fun. And it feels good to hang out with a kid. I don't have many in my life which, especially now, feels weird. I should be with little munchkins while I'm trying to make one.

Well. That's all for now. There is, I'm sure, a lot I need to talk about. But, not here.
