master of distraction.
Jun. 9th, 2008 12:18 amSo. The Brute, who is amazing, got me the Collective Tarot for my half birthday. She got herself a deck, too. And then I decided to make a pouch for mine, and then one for her, too... for her birthday. They turned out so nice, I'm really excited about them. And they were a great tool for evading the studying and paper writing and packing I should be doing.
I love the deck, too. Holy shit. I've been doing little readings for myself almost every night, and I'm starting to journal on them. It's helping me sort some things out in my head. Anyway, pulling the cards out of a plastic ziplock-type baggie just wasn't cutting it, so here are the pouches I sewed. It's all by hand so everything is a little off center, and the trees are embroidered.
(Brute, if you're peeking at this, don't you dare click the cut).
