stupid yahoo isn't letting me into my email. i poked around, though, and found out a lot of other people are having this problem. daylight savings time crash, maybe?? i dunno. people are stupid for trying to play god with the time. what's the effing difference, anyway?
mostly this sucks because i was planning on spending this evening writing and editing the book, but the most recent updates from mom are in my mailbox.
grover is in nola. i'll admit i miss her already, but i've been okay being by myself for this last 24 hours. sometimes i go crazy with alone time....last night i spent downloading music and porn and movies from limewire (no more porn, what a waste of time! but hey, i had to try it, i love porn). and i got two short-sleeve button down shirts from salvation army for cutting up. I did one of them last night and I LOVE IT! I cut the sleeves off and half of the back, so it's just the collar around my neck and it's open-backed to about my bra line. and now i'm gonna put boob-darts in it so it fits more nicely in the front. i'll put pics up soon, i'm very excited about it.
that's all for now. i'm gonna go eat the vegetable stew i just made, and sew some darts and watch a movie.

simple vegetable stoup (yes, stoup):
-seasonal (or frozen) vegetables
i prefer: carrots, corn (cut from the cob is best), purple cabbage (my fave), little bit of kale, peas, green beans.
-onions, garlic, ginger
-Braggs liquid aminos
-s+p
-Goya Sazon (optional, just used this for the first time today, it's good!)
-olive oil

chop onions, sautee in a big pot with little olive oil and s+p (sesame oil is good, too).
add garlic and ginger, sautee for a minute, add about an inch of water and a squirt of braggs.
allow to simmer for a couple minutes while chopping carrots and cabbage, then add a little more water.
toss in the harder veggies (carrots, corn, cabbage) and let simmer again.
add in other veggies when those are halfway cooked, fill with water to desired amount and consistency, and add squirts of braggs and goya to taste.
simmer until all veggies are cooked.
eat. yum.

my favorite thing about this is that it can be edited to include whatever there is in your fridge, or leave out whatever is not. add pasta or rice if you want a little more substance, or chicken stock, potatoes, tomatoes, and cedar chips, whatever!
