I always have a hard time believing those things, even though I'm "blindly optimistic" according to all things astrological. And according to all evidence in my life, really. So when the really good things come true, I'm always a little surprised.
Writing.
I wrote that paper on my cousin spencer. It was really really hard and I was unable to finish the story... it was too big for me to do in that time. But I turned it in anyway... the polished beginning. Yesterday she handed it back to me and said "This is really well put together. I know the story's not finished, but it's very well written and has a solid voice. I would appreciate it if you'd read it to the class."
I was kinda blown away... half expecting to get a big fat F. But instead, I got some really high compliments from her and a really high grade. Her system is 4/4/4 is highest. My last paper was just that, and this one was 4/3/4. I'm mostly just shocked. Especially because I don't think she likes me very much. Weird.
You know those days when you kinda feel on top of the world?
