charlz_lynnyes. yes, i am actually awake at 2:30am. ridiculous. but the thing is i'm addicted to six feet under. like, really.
good night. li'l ted came over, and i fed her, and made us all hot cocoa. mmm. i've really enjoyed cooking every day. it's something i used to do and completely lost sight of. but lately i've been coming in the door, washing my hands, and just going for it with my work boots still on, paint still wet on my pants (i know, i cleaned some off the cupboard door).
i have wild fantasies about this. about having a kitchen i love so much that i can't even sit down until i cook something in it. about picking some veggies out of the yard on my way in from work, and planning a meal around them. it goes so much deeper, but there's no sense making you all nauseous. i just wanna be a part-time housewife.
it's not that crazy, is it?
but. for now i'm doing the car/travelling thing instead. and that is okay. but i really hope that in a year, two at most, this will be my reality - a little slice of domestic heaven.
