Apr. 1st, 2010 11:01 pmI'm having a great visit. Oliver is charming the pants off everyone. He didn't sleep at all last night and now he's passed out in his car seat. Look, Ma, no hands!
Tomorrow we're driving down to Monroe to have dinner with some of my best friends from high school, including Jessica, my bff since 3rd grade. She's so hilarious. And, since we're going to Monroe, we;re going to the restaurant that was my favorite when I was a tiny tot. The booths are old cars and they have mini tacos. No, I'm not expecting to be wowed as an adult, but the nostalgia is good. I don't get much of that from that time, you know.
One last thing, that's depressing.
People here are setting fire to empty houses to protest the city laying off over 40 fire fighters.
Whoa.
