I had the most wonderful dinner and evening with the most wonderful group of homos I could possibly have spent it with. I cried and cried. Wept. Am tearing up right now.

I am so grateful.

I'm so grateful for McCain's speech. I think it was incredibly eloquent and dignified. Even with his crowd acting like a frat party (after the election was called, and a fucking junior high dance before) That made me sad for him. However, his speech made me feel like I was watching a good person addressing a nation.

And then Obama.
President Obama.
Oh my god. Thank you, universe. Thank you moveon.org. Thank you 56,359,180 (fifty six million three hundred and fifty nine thousand one hundred and eighty) people who voted for Obama.Thank you so very much. Let's get this thing moving.
I'm so excited to see him speak and speak and speak.

One thing I get frustrated with, living with my mumma, is that we just can't have nice things.
And I like to have nice things... simple, cheap things, that are kept  nice and not ruined by lack of care/attention/time... Like nice kitchen things mostly.

Art advice

Hi friends.
So, this painting thing is kinda new to me. And I've been painting these little animals on scraps of wood. I want to protect them, so I got some clear spray paint to top-coat them.
Except the spray paint is glossy, and I really like that they have a matte finish right now.

Do you know of anything I can top-coat them with that is matte?

So, the Brute arrives on the 21st of this month and we're planning on getting a hotel that night and inseminating both that day and the next. Of course, our dates are a little flexible because you know the ovaries cannot be trusted to release the little egg right when you think they will.
