okay, so...
Nov. 1st, 2008 06:38 pm'Member my class rage? Well, I want to tell you about it a little bit. About part of the source of my freakout. Which is still not over.
My mom just started this job at a high school in Fall River. It's the highest paying job she's ever had. In fact, she's the highest paid new hire they have. Well... The school just found out that it is not getting millions of dollars it thought it was. So, what are they to do? Yeah, axe people. Including the highest paid new hire.
My mom got the axe. She found out it was being discussed on Wednesday, and on Thursday found out it was happening, and on Friday found out she has one more week. Which I guess is good, cause she thought that Friday would be her last day.
So, there's that. There are other jobs. She's looking. We may move to providence, we may not have to move at all. My mom is the all-time greatest hustler, so we don't have to break our lease just yet.
I'm just so sad. Fuck them.
