Baci, the greatest pitbull in the universe, got a new collar. Bob hated it. It's forest green. So... I embroidered it. Now it says "Who Walks Who?" in yellow, and it's super cute. Bob loves it, and she said I should sell them. Which I was thinking when I was embroidering it... So I went online just now and bought 16 collars of varying sizes and colors to embroider phrases on and sell on the street somewhere. I also started making pantleg purses last week. The first one is brown corduroy with a light blue tree on it. And the second, still unfinished, is dark grey with a pink bird. their straps are ties. I LOVE them!! But the thing about the purses is they take forever to make (all hand-sewn), and in order to sell them I would have to charge WAY too much. But the collars, on the other hand... the collars were about two dollars a piece, take no time at all, and I can sell them for 10 or 15 dollars. Sweet.
Oh right, that brings me to yet another question... do any of you, esp. new yorkers, have a sewing machine you're not using?? Maybe you'd want to lend it to me, or sell it to me for a low cost? If you do, let me know. Kay... off to a party and to pick up my first check.
