little quiz
Oct. 18th, 2006 09:31 pmok, i was feeling down... cramping, grumpy, getting sucked into television. i finished my book last night and haven't picked up another yet... and then i remembered that i hadn't read my voter's packet yet! so i did that. and then i started researching candidates on the internet... which, to be perfectly honest, is not something i've ever done; researched candidates.
in my poking around, i found this funny little quiz.
http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html
i'm right at the libertarian edge of liberal.
i mean, it's kinda obvious what they 'want' you to answer, but it was interesting, to a political dunce like me.
a few years ago, before the election, a bunch of friends and i got together and filled out our ballots (i love oregon) together, with our voters' packets.. it was nice to make informed decisions, and the first time i ever cared about an election, and actually did something instead of just being angry.
the issues on the ballot are so different in mass than they were in oregon... but now i know a whole lot about them and a whole lot about the candidates... that feels nice.
