and the week rolls on.

i'm beat. to shit. my entire being is trying to fight off this cape cod crud that everyone around me seems to have right now. mike is blowing his nose in t-shirts and leaving them on the bedroom floor for a night. he's pretty damn sick. mom has been doing home made vaporizers on the stove. three of the girls i work with were sent home from the bar last night. and the back of my throat has started to hurt just a teeny little bit at a certain point every day for the last three. i ain't gonna do it. no sick for me, no sir.
in good news. i go into overtime pay tomorrow at 6 pm. hell yes. 3 1/2 long shifts of OT. that's almost 40 hours. bring it.
paprika played at the bar last night. it was AWESOME. youknow what? i'm just a lez... so while all the straight folks and baby dykes (i know, i'm an asshole) i work with bitch about the drumming and older lesbians with bad fashion, i am loving it. and i'm really bummed out that i won't get to see cris williamson, who is playing every night this week at a venue down the street. i'm working during every single show. bugger.

last night, when i came home and realized that my mom had water boiling with this arnica salve in it on the stove, i had a really great visual. of living in a house with a wood stove, and having a little one with a cold and setting them up in the living room next to the stove and pan of boiling water and doing puzzles and playing board games and feeding them ginger tea. i really like thinking about having babies.
