Well, I made an online registry. I am going to make a more complete list and an invite to the shower/party sometime, but for now... here's my list if you feel like taking a look:

This was a pretty cool and easy tool to use. Thanks, hatched_chicken , for showing me to your friend's list. That was super helpful!

It's also very weird to ask for things. Very very weird. I spent a lot of time putting some of this small (but expensive!) registry together... researching diapers and cosleeping bassinets and other stuff... And it will continue to grow. But everything seems so expensive to me. That last bit deserves a whole other post. I gotta go to sleep.

Haha! I had thought about them, then Nedra sent me the link. I couldn't remember where they were, but we were all laughing at them in biology class a couple years ago.

my sister found most of her first year stuff at garage sales and craigslist. people get rid of that stuff as babies grow out of everything so fast. she also found that garage sales that had baby stuff had a LOT of it. especially the expensive stuff like breast pumps and furniture.

i'm SO glad you are using cloth nappies. my mom used those and now my sister is- and they are SO much cheaper and green!

i love you and that baby so freaking much it's not even funny! and don't be afraid to ask for things. xoxo

I love you so freaking much, too!! Thanks for the suggestions! I am hoping people will find these things used on CL and at sales and stuff... I don't need all new stuff to get rid of in a few months.

And paypal, I'm totally interested. Thanks for offering to set it up. How would that work? I don't have a bank account that I can put money in (the bank will take it), so I have been curious about how I'd get money out of Paypal. This is the kind of organizing I'm not so great at.
