(no subject)

I'm trying to decide on a fertility-booster supplement. I haven't checked out too many options... mostly looking at this Fertility Blend. It kinda sounds like a scam. But I always feel that way when reading advertisements for things.
Any advice/opinions?
I know I need to re-overhaul my diet. I'm not going to completely cut sugar again, but I need to add a whole lot of fruit and veggies, and no more fish. I don't eat much fish as it is, but i'm ousting it.

I realized today that i might be trying to conceive in one month.
Holy shit.

more later. sleep now.

herbal or otherwise, on that fertility dealie? just curious. i have heard great things about herbal fertility stuff...even teas.

i know you will be the busiest person ever at michigan, but i really want to have a hangout with you. dinner or tea or a walk or something.

i think i have said this before, but i am kicking myself for not spending more time with you while you were in nyc. ):

I am with you 100% on hanging out! Can't believe we didn't hang out more in Brooklyn, but that is the way, isn't it? Anyway, I am busy at Michigan, but here's the trick: make concrete plans with me as soon as you get there. Please please please. As soon as I have my schedule made I can make real plans.
And also, that fertility blend is herbal. There are some teas listed on the same site with it, too... So exciting to shop for.

Well, they're not the drugs that make me drop more eggs and end up with quintuplets or anything... just herbals that kinda get my babymachine all prepared to do its thing. I want to take a booster because it's so expensive every try and if my chances of conception are better with a thirty dollar bottle of pills, then....
But if you have arguments against the boosters, I would LOVE to hear them.

oh, that's right. i forgot about the paying for sperm thing.

i suppose if you get credible information about the herbals, go for it.

have you been tracking your cycles to see when you are at peak ovulation? besides that, i have no advice.

I have been, but I'm wishing I'd gotten more serious about it sooner. One month of rigorous tracking is a little crazy short. But I have marked down when I'm pretty sure I was ovulating on my femenstrual calendar for a couple months and it's lining up. Way exciting.

I saw a teen the other day that looked a lot like your teen.

Folic Acid is reccomended for up to 2 years before pregnancy. If you haven't already been taking it, you should start now. It helps prevent some birth defects.

I don't know much else.

Are you charting your fertility/ovulation?

You can track your ovulation by taking your waking body temperature with a high end thermometer (or a nice old school one that has a lot of gradients between degrees.)

My friend's store cells bulk ovulation tests for dirt cheap. http://www.extraordinarybabyshoppe.com/

hey, thanks! I'm going to go check that out after financial aid comes :)
I've been taking my waking body temp... but i have a helluva time remembering it. Jeez.
And folic acid. check.

Thanks, you're the best.
