I just did the hugest most giant extremely large grocery shop ever. Well, okay, probably not for a lot of people, but probably to most of you who may be reading this. I had a full full grocery cart (at a huge chain supermarket, no dinky coop conservationalist cart here). And because of this -- because of payday and needing to 1.) eat at home vs. eating out and 2.) occupy my time -- I will be making the following this week:

• meatloaf and smashies
• kale and pan fried tofu and rice
• strawberry jam
• steak, to celebrate, with broccoli and baked potatoes
• purple soup, oh how I've missed it
• pizza, which i made at the brute's and will be copying with roasted garlic, caramelized onions and sauteed mushrooms. Sauce from fresh tomatoes... I'd never done that and I'm so excited I wanna do it all the time.

Umn... that's it, but the cupboards are so full of snacks and food I'll use to make my mom lunch everyday. And even better, there's all sorts of fruit for grabbing and eating. Thank the goddess.
Can you hear the poor fat kid busting out of me right now?

I also got fresh flowers. I've been needing those.

I'm up for another weekend alone at the house. I'm going to take all that food back out of the fridge and clean it, because today I found black mold on the fridge. Excuse me, let me say that again. Today, I found Black Mold on our FRIDGE. Not okay with me at all. Nope. not a bit. So, I'll be getting down with the cleaning supplies. This house smells moldy. It looks beautiful and smells nasty, and I've been putting baking soda in coffee filters to make little packets for all the cupboards but... What else can I do? I've cleaned everything. It's water damage. A girl can only burn so much sage.

I'm my mother's housewife by way of my self-initiated freeloader responsibilities. It's working out, and she pointed out to me that it's not always a five minute turn around when you uproot and stuff. Yeah. I should know this.

I think I'm a little fried from fluorescent lights. Good night.
